Artists

Yoon Parkdohee
Artist Yoon Parkdohee, originally from South Korea, now based in Japan and pursuing a doctorate at Musashino Art University, presents work in an exhibition organized by "Sweet Utopia" as part of the "Grow in Wild" series. Yoon Parkdohee's art draws from an international upbringing, showcasing the impact of diverse life experiences. Through the motif of "flowing water," the fluidity of social life is symbolized. Using corrosion techniques on copper plates, emphasis is placed on the inevitabilities and coincidences shaping lives. The exhibition, titled "Cross Mountains and Seas," is the first of a series. Subsequent exhibitions will focus on China, Korea, the artist's native country, and Indonesia, a significant influence on the artist's personal development. The work not only captures the passage of time but also vividly portrays the serendipity of life. Each momentary view in misty landscapes is unique, mirroring life's unpredictability.
