Communications Museum
Finished
Britain will host the Olympics this year and is known for being the standard-bearer of nineteenth century modernization following the Industrial Revolution, and also simultaneously creating the first modern postage stamps. This exhibition turns the spotlight onto this particular Britain, and draws on the museum's collection to introduce in an interactive way the Penny Black stamp (1840), Morse Code communication (1878), and other landmarks.
