Ryo Owada
From 2014 to2016 photographer Ryo Owada shot at 32 live houses in the suburbs of Tokyo, announcing the work ‘Live House, Tokyo’ in 2018. Also, only at this exhibition, a special edition of his work will be on sale with a portion of the sales donated to live houses. COVID-19 has forced many of these venues to limit their operation, perhaps reinforcing the meaning and importance of live houses and the musicians who perform at them.
