A group exhibition of our artists including Yukio Fujimoto, Masato Kobayashi, Aki Kondo, Naofumi Maruyama, Anju Michele, Ritsue Mishima and Yoriko Takabatake. Anju Michele will present his new series of works “Ray” for the first time, which has become the basis of creating a new scarf, as an inspiration source to Italian fashion brand Loro Piana. Loro Piana will release its new scarf “Ray” in a limited quantity this July, whose design is inspired by one of the works from Anju’s series.

Also showcased is Yukio Fujimoto, who compiled his forty-year art practice into an online exhibition themed around “sound” last year. In addition, this exhibition will be orchestrated with some of the best works of other participating artists, including Masato Kobayashi, who will have a solo exhibition at ShugoArts this September, Aki Kondo, who just published her first critically acclaimed monograph “The Happiness that Exists Here” and will also have a solo exhibition at the Yamagata Museum of Art this November, along with the painters Naofumi Maruyama, Yoriko Takabatake, and Ritsue Mishima, who works with transparent Venetian-glass. Many artworks will be shown for the first time in the gallery space including, but not limited to, paintings by Masato Kobayashi and drawings by Aki Kondo.
