In commemoration of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, this exhibition introduces the history and culture of sports in Japan. Through examples of arts and crafts and other materials related to modern sports from the collections of Tokyo National Museum and Prince Chichibu Memorial Sports Museum, it showcases the evolution of Japanese sports from the Edo and Meiji periods onward.
