Kousuke Shimizu
Kousuke Shimizu’s handcrafted collages, silkscreens, and illustrations demonstrate both an instinctive imagination and elements of ambivalence. His Pop-influenced works are at once charming and dark. “Random Craze,” his first exhibition in three years, features animation-like illustrations and 3D works, including a sofa with original fabric, stuffed dolls, figurines, and lamps in his “Mashup Dolls” series. His artist book “Chaotic Discord 2” and original merchandise is available.
