Exhibition celebrating the work of Japanese-style nihonga painter Fumiko Hori (1918-), who earned a living through magazine illustrations and book binding before traveling throughout Japan and overseas from the 1960s onward. Visiting countries such as Mexico, Italy, and Nepal, she expressed that which impressed her during such journeys as paintings and essays. Discover the world of Hori, who continues to depict the beauty of nature and life, through representative masterpieces, drawings, and writings. This multi-part exhibition is a fantastic opportunity to explore her artistic approach and unique view of humanity.
