Artemiss Contemporary

A new type of gallery is about to open in Tokyo. Nomadic in concept, Artemiss Contemporary takes art to the people by holding exhibitions in unusual places - restaurants, shops, salons, hotels, flats - as well as its own gallery space.
Popular in Europe, this is the first time the idea of a roving art gallery for European art is being launched in Japan. It's the brainchild of gallery owner Clementine de Forton.
