Marco Gallery

Our gallery was founded as a commercial gallery in 2020. We aim to find a sense of beauty that is hidden like a point among things that may seem unrelated at first glance in various fields, connect those points through exhibitions to create lines, and conduct experiments to make them three-dimensional, aiming to create a space that functions across time and space. We hope that what artists express in response to the living era and society resonates with someone somewhere, transcending culture, country, and time, and that the body of works created by the artist for that person will be a perceptual reference book for unraveling the era and society in which the artist lived. At times, we operate the gallery with the conviction that they become milestones, footsteps, and those that till the world. We believe that an environment is necessary for artists to continue their expression activities endlessly. We believe that this environment is created by various factors, including the chemical reactions of the people involved, such as gallery owners, curators, critics, collectors, and future individuals. Our gallery aims to function as an entity that promotes such fermentation based on these ideas.
Specifically, under the concept of cross-bordering fields that transcend culture, country, and time, our gallery participates in art fairs such as Art Taipei and Art Freeze with artists who are looking to the future, regardless of whether they are young or middle-aged, on the world stage. In Japan, we have a location in Shinsaibashi to cultivate a soil that is sensitive to art across generations and construct exhibitions. Through direct dialogue with viewers at the site, we convey the artist's ideas and their relationship with current society, and we also build relationships with residences and dispatch artists to expand the peripheral areas of art.
