The Kanazawa Utatsuyama Kogei Kobo was established on November 1, 1989 in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the city of Kanazawa. The kobo (workshop) is as an institution that specializes in KOGEI (crafts), and is responsible for the preservation and development of KOGEI in Kanazawa as well as the promotion of cultural activities. Kanazawa is known for its tradition of excellence in KOGEI, which developed from the activities of the Osaikusho (Kaga Clan Kobo). To retain the spirit of its forerunners, the Kobo adhered to three principles: "To train artists who will work actively at the international level," "To exhibit KOGEI to the public," and "To encourage the public to participate in KOGEI." Through exhibitions and workshops for the public, it strove to continue to develop the culture of KOGEI. Since 1989, the kobo has offered traineeships to artists and has cultivated trainees to have the creativity to use their art to respond to the changing times.
30 years after its foundation, the kobo was renovated and re-opened on November 1, 2019 in commemoration of the 130th anniversary of the founding of Kanazawa City. The three principles of the kobo were also updated to reflect its changing nature. These renewed principles include: "To train artists who will work actively at the international level," "To connect with the world proactively," and "To diffuse authentic KOGEI (crafts) all over the world." The Kobo aims to be a focal point for producing world-class craftspeople who play active roles in KOGEI while also adjusting to the changing times.

The State Guest House, Akasaka Palace (SGH AP) was the only palace in Japan that was built based on the neo-Baroque style as Togu Gosho (Crown Prince's Palace) in 1909. It is a structure built by mobilizing all available resources of the Japanese architectural, art and craft industries in those days and represents the culmination of Japan's full-scale modern Western architecture in the Meiji period. Japan returned to the international community a dozen years after World War II and the number of foreign dignitaries that it welcomes increased; given this, the facilities were extensively restored and remodeled along with the construction of a new Japanese Style Annex and made a fresh start as the current SGH AP in 1974. After the massive repair work in 2009, the SGH AP was designated as a national treasure as one of the structures that represent Japanese architecture. The SGH AP has received a large number of distinguished guests, such as monarchs, presidents or prime ministers, and been used as a venue for international conferences, including summit meetings, as well.

Twelve Kyoto is an alternative space based in Kyoto, Japan, focusing on zines, art books, independent publishing, exhibitions, and printed matter culture. As a space where exhibitions, publishing, and events intersect, TWELVE aims to go beyond the framework of a shop or gallery, serving as a cultural hub that connects local and international communities through art, music, and independent expression. Also operates as TWELVE Publishing, collaborating with artists from Japan and abroad to produce and publish artist books, zines, and posters.

STUDIO KAN is a complex facility in Kyoto, a city that attracts aspiring artists from all over the world.
It's features a renovated vacant apartment that serves as a studio with 24-hour access and complete facilities for creating artwork, as well as gallery where artists can present their work.

The Kiyomizu-dera Temple Pilgrimage Mandala created in the first half of the 16 century depicts the pilgrimage route to Kiyomizu-dera Temple across the Kamo-gawa River and the precincts of the temple. At present, there are several roads leading to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, but when the Pilgrimage Mandala was drawn, the road leading to Kiyomizu-dera Temple from Gojo-bashi Bridge (Matsubara-bashi Bridge) through Gojo-dori Street (Matsubara-dori Street)   was a pilgrimage road.
While the pilgrimage mandala depicts the same visitors as today — people clasping their hands at Buddhist statues, gazing at the scenery from the Kiyomizu stage, purifying themselves at Otowa Falls, and resting at a tea house in front of the temple
