Kawagoeshi Kurazukuri Shiryokan

The building was built immediately after the Kawagoe Fire of 1893 by Koyama Bunzo, a tobacco wholesaler at the time. In this museum, visitors can actually see the design and structure of Kawagoe's kura-zukuri houses, as well as their premises, and experience the Meiji era atmosphere that still lives on today.
