National Archives of Modern Architecture

The contemporary architecture of Japan holds an important place in the world’s cultural art. However, its academic, historical, and aesthetic value has not been adequately passed on to future generations. The National Archives exists to preserve and maintain valuable documentation concerning the country’s architecture. The aim is to educate the citizens of Japan about our nation’s contemporary architecture through exhibitions and other activities.
