Contemporary Heis

Contemporary Heis was established in 2012 as a speciality gallery of contemporary art.
Contemporary Heis introduces young Japanese artists in Japan and overseas through art fairs and exhibitions. The gallery also has exhibitions showcasing works from Informalism, Neo-Dada and Kyushu-Ha to explore more art from the Post-War period. Furthermore, the gallery deals with the works of Mono-Ha artists as well. Contemporary Heis does not narrow down genres but mainly introduces works that are abstract expressionist.
