Iconic dates which come to symbolize so much more. In this exhibition Kaihatsu pursues events of disaster from the Monju incident to Fukushima and attempts to give shape to the emotions which surround them.
“These are issues which we can not hope to solve one our own. Therefore it is important to continue in the distribution of such concerns in the hope of building up a power of transmission”, a statement by the artist which may act as a marker for our own wishes.
