Mosaic glass is made through an advanced processing of melting and inlaying colored glass in elaborate patterns. Reaching its height in the Hellenistic Age of Ancient Greece, mosaic glass could be found in the decorations of boxes, furniture, and walls prized by the aristocracy. Talking the shapes of motifs such as gods and flowers, its diverse colors form striking works of art.
