This event has ended.

Thirteen artists present their renderings of the “nue no tora” (chimera tiger), a mythical beast from the Tale of the Heike with the face of a monkey, the body of a tanuki, the legs of a tiger, and the tail of a snake. It is believed to be a combination of Chinese zodiac animals representing different regions of Japan.
