This event has ended.

Glass is both fragile and resistant to time, balancing between temporality and permanence, two concepts that have fascinated humanity since its origin because they reach our deepest fears about aging, ending, and disappearing, and our great desire to remain the same. Certainly, nothing is eternal, but through the first series of works developed for Gallery Art Composition, artist Haruka Kanamaru, who holds a Ph.D. from the prestigious Tokyo University of the Arts, insists that rather than vanishing, things are expanding. In this installation spreads a multitude of petals, a symbol of energy driven by “aqua” (water as a source of diffusion), creating the new. One can see a positive message to humanity: we don’t vanish, each of us expands, leave something behind to the world.
