Filled with cute bears, anthropomorphized buttons, and other endearing characters, each page of picture book artist Chiaki Okada’s works has a calming effect in this confusing world. This exhibition features original illustrations from major works such as “Yume no Tobira wo Hiraku Toki” (When You Open the Door to Dreams), “Akari” (Light), “Hidamari” (Sunlight), “Komorebi” (The Light Through the Trees), “Chiisai Majo to Kuroi Mori” (The Small Witch and the Black Forest” and “Zashiki Bokko no Hanashi” (The Story of Zashiki Boko), as well as the new work “Maho no Happi Harouin” (Magical Happy Halloween). A photo spot allows you to step into the world of picture books. Let this exhibition put you back in touch with your inner child.
