This event has ended.

Kana Otsuki is a painter and illustrator. Since her debut at Gallery Neutron, the predecessor of Paku Paku An, she has remained active. She continues to depict the state of contemporary Japan through the theme of “girls.”

Otsuki is now taking on the challenge of creating new work in response to the spread of COVID-19. Originally this solo exhibition was scheduled for the same period last year, but was postponed.

Otsuki approached the ceramic artist Kuniko Kinoto, with whom she had a joint exhibition at Paku Paku An in 2017, about creating a new vision echoing Kinoto’s theme of “stone.” An installation with Kinoto’s works will be shown at the gallery and also presented online.
