We could see contemporary sculpture as investigating the diversity of forms in space. Since its opening in 1951, The Museum of Modern Art, Kamakura & Hayama has taken an active role in accumulating, exhibiting and preserving contemporary sculpture and three-dimensional artworks. In this exhibition, it commemorates this seventy-year long endeavour, revisiting the museum’s sculptural collection through the lens of nine different themes. It is a chance to experience the rich dialogue between all kinds of forms and the space surrounding us.
