Ishu Han Exhibition
This event has ended.
Featuring the work of Nissan Art Award Grand Prix winner Ishu Han, whose sculptures and installations reflect his experiences of moving from Shanghai to Aomori and the physical and psychological sense of disorientation resulting from experiences in different societies. His work also considers issues of our contemporary world, such as restricted movement due to political or environmental conditions. This exhibition evokes the sense of physical distance resulting from corona-related restrictions and increased digitalization. A “virtual facade” made up of giant LED displays on two-story glass surfaces at the Ginza 4-chome intersection will screen a film by Han. The second-story cafe will also present film work after “Nissan Crossing” closes.
